Miami Corporation accepting high resolution photo submissions to spotlight in their 2012 calendar contest.

August 2011 – Miami Corporation launches contest for its 2012 calendar to express their appreciation to their customers. The winning entries will have their work on display to thousands of their peers in the upcoming calendar. Entrants must be Miami Corporation customers and all photographs must be of products purchased from Miami Corporation. Participants will submit at least three high resolution photographs before the September 12, 2011 deadline.

Photos being accepted must be in the categories of Automotive Interiors, Awning, Contract (Indoor and Outdoor) and Marine Interiors & Covers. Once submitted all photos become the property of Miami Corporation and can be used for future purposes.

Miami Corporation Offers Samples of Spradling Softside ® Marine Vinyl

June 2011 – Miami Corporation now offers the Spradling Softside® marine vinyl in three new patterns. The new Zander, Marlin and Beluga patterns all have the Permaguard® barrier coating which is a stain resistance top coat added to the vinyls. Miami Corporation has samples of the new patterns currently available.

As a leader in the industry, Miami Corporation makes available new and innovative products, such as SOFTSIDE® from Spradling, in stock and ready for immediate purchase. The Softside Collection of vinyl provides a soft hand with exceptional durability and strength. UV and Mildew resistant, this marine grade vinyl is suitable for all applications including commercial, residential, and marine. Line consists of fourteen unique patterns including one (Apex) with Permablok3® vinyl protection and three (Beluga, Marlin and Zander) with the Permaguard® stain resistant barrier and are available in 283 colors including spot-on matches of automotive and marine OEM colors.

Miami Corporation Adds Costa Track and Flex-A-Rail to Product Line

June 2011 – Miami Corporation announces the addition of Costa Track® and Flex-A-Rail® to
the line of mount tracks. Both are exciting innovations in the PVC track line, offering flexibility
and easy installation.

In an effort to continually provide customers with the most innovative products available to the
market, the Miami Corporation is always searching for products that will ultimately benefit those
using them. Miami Corporation continuously adds to the extensive selection of ready-to-install
products, custom cut materials, and supplies.

Costa Track® is a heavy-duty PVC center-mount track designed to replace flange-style track.
It maximizes load capability for large covers, biminis and track-to-track enclosures and can
be heat-formed to most radii and is predrilled every 4 inches. Flex-A-Rail requires only small
amounts of heat to be curved or bent in any direction, even around sharp corners if softened
with a heat gun first. Flex-A-Rail can be simply cut with a standard hacksaw; drill screw holes,
and fasten to the applicable surface.

“Costa Track and Flex A Rail awning track are great for fabricators because they are both made
of PVC. This gives the installer the freedom to do many things they couldn’t do with the old
metal track, like cut to desired size with a hacksaw or heating it to bend around contour edges.

New Items & Sample Cards

Whoa, lots of new stuff here at Miami. Maybe this will brighten your spirits with all the cold and snow we have blanketing us right now. We have 3 new lines in and 4 new sample cards that just hit our doors.

First is a new sample card for the Seaquest marine line. Same material, just new part #’s.

Second, is a new line called Beachcomber. It has the same construction as our top selling Seaquest line, has a unique pattern and is availabe in 14 colors.

Third, we have another new marine vinly line, called Bronte & Bondi. It comes in 2 patterns, an Ostrich pattern and Crocodile pattern, with 11 color options. Like the Beachcomber, it’s the same construction as the Seaquest line. It’s perfect for motorcycle seats and any other outdoor or hospitality application.

Finally, we have the Dolce line. It’s a Poly Carbonate Urethane, with an extremely soft hand. Just recently our roof has been transformed. No longer is it used to collect rain & snow (it is still extremely effective at that, however), now it is used to generate power! What used to be a void is now full of solar panels! Every day more energy is saved & converted to power, helping save gas & trees!

Happy New year to everyone! Hopefully everyone had a wonderful Holiday season. Anyone get a new interior for their car or boat, or a new convertible top for Christmas? I got socks & underwear (yay!).
